Digital printing has taken offMarch 2010

Tapematic announces that less than one year from the launch of the 2Print mini more than 10 units have been sold and installed worldwide, and there are another 14 units in the orders portfolio to be delivered within April 2010.

This is an important achievement, and is showing that more and more companies are starting to feel the need of a system that is allowing a cost per disc below 0.02 Euro, with the flexibility to manufacture 50 or 5,000 having the same cost, and changing between jobs in less than 30 seconds.

Plus Tapematic firmly believes that the fact of having in the 2Print and 2Print mini a full automatic inline silkscreen station to apply the white base prior to digital printing is a huge advantage. It allows to replicators to print discs taken directly from the replication lines, and allows duplicators to buy bulk CDR and DVDR at lower unit cost, as they no longer need to purchase the more expensive white flooded discs.

Important to underline that the white used on the 2Print is a standard white, not a ‘special’ white such as desktop inkjet thermal in necessary.
